Nip : Cockatiel
Nip and Rikka had been in a foster to adopt program and due to unforseen sudden health issues they were brought back to Birdline.
These two sweethearts are amazing birds who love each other very much!! With that said however, at times during hormonal season we do see some plucking of feathers and Nip can be a bit aggressive to Rikka,if possible we recommend a separate cage for these times if needed.
They eat a varied diet and LOVE all vegetables. They are learning to eat harrisons fine pellets and do get cockatiel seed on a regular basis.
Showers are also a big hit with these two!
They have been health cleared by our Avian Vet and our ready for their new forever home.
We do ask that they remain together.

Sept 2013 Update:
We are sad to say that Rikka has passed away quite suddenly. Nip (on the left) is still looking for his “feathever” home and is somewhat lost without his best friend to keep him company.
