ABA – Applied Behavioral Analysis

ABA is an approach to changing socially useful behaviors that employs scientifically established principles of learning to bring about these changes.(From the book “Understanding Applied Behavior Analysis by Albert J.Kearney).

There is NO such thing as a BAD bird – birds will behave according to their environment and past and present behaviors/consequences – remember that the next time someone tells you “this is the baddest bird I’ve ever seen” the bird did not get that way on their own – circumstances lead the bird to his current behaviors and they CAN be changed.
