36 year old Blue and Gold macaw looking for a new family.

Hagar is a 36 year old DNA male Blue and Gold macaw looking for a new family. His male owner passed away suddenly.
He has been exposed to dogs and reptiles but not other birds and we are not sure how he is socially or around young children.
Has a welded steel cage and a carrier.
His diet has been peanuts, vegetables, cheese, watermelon.
His nails and beak are trimmed every spring.
He is located in south Calgary AB and you can call for more information and to meet this guy.
There IS an adoption fee that can be discussed with the current owner/caretaker.

I am very interested in this bird wondering what behavior is like. I do have smaller birds but they wouldn’t be out of cage at same time. Him being a man’s bird how is he with women? Also what is the adoption fee.
